Football Physiotherapist
About the Role
The Henley College is seeking a qualified and dedicated Football Physiotherapist to support our football programme. You will work closely with the Head Coach and Programme Manager, providing expert acute injury care and rehabilitation to student-athletes during matches, both home and away (national travel included).
This is a vital role ensuring the safe and effective recovery of players, helping them return to their optimal level of football performance.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who combines strong knowledge with a positive, student-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have:
- A physiotherapy qualification
- Proven experience diagnosing and managing football-related injuries such as soft tissue injuries, concussions, and joint sprains
- Strong knowledge of pitch-side assessment and emergency protocols
- Experience supporting student athletes in an educational setting (desirable)
- Ability to communicate clearly and build strong relationships with staff, parents, students, and stakeholders
- Flexible, adaptable approach to working hours, including travel to away fixtures
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn, develop and embrace new challenges

Location: Henley on Thames
Salary: £24.76 per hour
Contract Type: Casual Claim, Fixed Term Contract
Dates of Employment: 4th August 2025 till 5th June 2026 - an earlier start date can be accepted
