Learning Support Assistant

Location: Henley-on-Thames

Salary: £17,267.71 (£24,603.00 FTE)

Contract Type: Permanent, 32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only (36 weeks)

Working Hours: 8:45 am – 4 pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in young people's lives? We are looking for dedicated, compassionate, and proactive Learning Support Assistants to join our vibrant college community.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with a number of students who need a little extra help. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys and contribute to a positive, inclusive college culture.

Main Responsibilities

• Support students’ learning in a classroom environment

• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere

The ideal candidate will

• Have a proven ability to support young students with diverse needs

• Build positive, respectful relationships with students

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a clear commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

• Confidently support students in the classroom

• Be a reliable and proactive team player who works collaboratively with staff across the College

• Show a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and upholding the College’s values and policies
